Dominik Hartl is an Austrian director and author. He studied directing and screenwriting at the Film Academy Vienna. His graduation film is the award winning horror comedy "Vienna Waits for You" / "Spitzendeckchen" (2012).
His first feature film, the coming-of-age drama "Beautiful Girl" (Allegro Film), celebrated its Austrian cinema premiere in October 2015. His second feature film, the zombie comedy "Attack of the Lederhosen Zombies" (Fischerfilm), arrived in cinemas at the end of 2016. Both films have received several awards at international film festivals.
Hartl's third feature film "Party Hard, Die Young" / "Die letzte Party deines Lebens", a teen slasher/thriller premiered in March 2018 and was one of the largest audience number for Austrian films that year.
