Biography
Adrian Jonas Haim (*1991 in Vienna) works in film and politics in Vienna and beyond. He studied Political Science and Experimental Game Cultures at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. He has participated in various writing, music, and art projects focusing on Marxism and ideology in cross-media culture. Former editor at the newspaper MALMOE and programmer for film series on memory politics (Filmclub Tacheles, Vienna Jewish Film Festival, This Human World Film Festival). Since 2020, he has been a member of Total Refusal.
Susanna Flock (*1988 in Graz) completed her studies at the University of Artistic Design in Linz (2015) and the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna (2017), Austria. Most recently, she was awarded the BMKÖS Paris Residency (2023), a studio through the Academy of Fine Arts' studio program (2021), the Pixel, Bytes and Film scholarship (2020), the Viktor Fogarassy Prize (2019), the Rote Fabrik Residency in Zurich (2019), the Start Scholarship for Media Art Austria (2018), and a scholarship at the Akademie Schloss Solitude (2018).
Jona Kleinlein (*1993 in Stuttgart) studied Moving Images at the Filmfagskolen in Kabelvåg, Norway. In the following years, he became a member of the Viennese art collective Total Refusal. His artistic focus lies at the intersection of digital media art and the creation of slow-paced images with his beloved Bolex. Jona’s works and contributions include “Hidden Conflicts” (2018), “Disaster Tourism” (2021), “Disco Stahlbad” (2022), as well as various Norwegian film productions.
