Synopsis
The Valley Where LOAB Lives is an AI-generated work tracing the transformations of a digital cryptid across six iconic eras of horror cinema – from Nosferatu to Get Out. LOAB stems from a real internet phenomenon: a “negative prompt” that conjured a phantom – both glitch and ghost. Like in the myth of Roko’s Basilisk, LOAB exerts her power: those who know her become part of the algorithm – and those who resist are punished. A ghost story between essay film and digital invocation.
