Synopsis
A family from the city stumbles into a countryside inn. A young man is forced to sing. Meanwhile, the family's child is a silent observer. She sees the ambiguity of the world surrounding her and how beauty and ugliness coexist. Based on a narrative by Ivan Turgenev.
