Aside from her MA in visual anthropology, Pia Ilonka Schenk Jensen (Norway) has a BA in Film and TV production as well as a 2 year Art degree, and worked extensively for National Radio and Television in Norway before moving to Mexico City.

She has directed several short and medium-length films, and recently participated in CPH:LAB at the CPH:DOX documentary film festival. Her work finds itself in the axis between the personal, experimental and documentary genres. Her films have participated in international film festivals and retrospectives, and her latest work and thesis film “Hungarian Lullaby” was selected for competition for best Norwegian documentary in 2017.

Pia is currently preparing her first feature film and writing a podcast documentary series about sexual harrasment.
