Nicole Foelsterl is an Austrian-Swiss filmmaker. Her films and video installations explore the boundaries between documentary and experimental narrative. They are attempts to approach themes of memory cultures, migration and the social construction of identities. Nicole Foelsterl teaches and conducts research in the fields of video ethnography and participatory design at the Zurich University of the Arts.
