Lena Imboden

Biography
Lena Imboden was born and raised in Zurich in 1992. After graduating from high school in 2010, she studied Educational Science (HF) and Film Studies (NF) at the University of Zurich, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in 2015. She then worked for two years in production offices such as Condorfilms/FaroTV as a production assistant and coordinator and junior realizer. In 2018, Lena successfully applied to the ZHdK for a new Bachelor's degree in Film. At the beginning of 2020, she was able to complete an internship in dramaturgy for Macbeth at the Staatsschauspiel in Dresden. Throughout her studies, Lena works at the Houdini cinema, giving her the opportunity to gain a deep insight into the cinema landscape. Lena has been living in Vienna since 2022 and is completing her Master's in Directing at the Vienna Film Academy. She also works as a freelance director and assistant director in Switzerland, Germany and Austria.
