
Biography
Angelika Spangel is an Austrian cinematographer and filmmaker. She holds a degree in Educational Science from the University of Vienna and later specialized in Cinematography at the Vienna Film Academy, where she was mentored by Wolfgang Thaler and assisted him on numerous productions. She worked as a cinematographer on the mid-length feature Strangers in the Night, which premiered at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and was nominated for the Michael Ballhaus Award. Ein Unfall marks her debut short film as a director.
